Mechanics as metaphor? Done.

Sensational! Really delivers the message.

Nice game!

Loved how crisp everything looked, and how it's almost a stare contest: you don't need to care much about shooting.

Loved it. The presentation was spot on, and the design, while it's like VVVVVV but you can invert in the air, it's pretty nice.

The only thing I didn't like it's like most levels I felt had more than necessary boxes to paint. And in some you always have some boxes around you that you have to first paint to then begin the level. This get's pretty annoying when you repeat a level over and over.

Pretty cool!

Thank you so much! :) I understand the complaint about having to paint boxes around you. I intended it to be kind of an aesthetic thing. A set of blocks around you looks (and, I think, feels) better than just one. It's also easier to slam into a spike by mistake when there's only one or two blocks underneath you. I get what you're saying, though. I'll keep that in mind in the future. Glad you enjoyed it overall! :)

Nice entry! I had fun with it. I don't agree with the reviews: the game would be worse without the slippy controls. The lighting effects were awesome. My only disappoint was that I discovered that I couldn't jump over them in no way. Keep it up!

One of the best of the Ludum Dare, no doubt about that! Nice use of the theme, great ending! Just thought the levels were a bit repetitive. Graphics were great paint goodness!

Good! Its so full of little details!

Awesome!

Loved the damn thing. Simple and with combos! The music is awesome, by the way, as well as the story artwork.

Loved it!

I liked it a lot. But the main character is just Isaac Clarke again... And the music is always the same. Music would give the game a good sense of variety it kinda lacks.

Cool!

This game is fun and it's got a brillant polish in the sound and mainly in the graphics that differ it from a typical shooter. It kinda reminds me Big Bang Mini. The thing is, if you get shot once, you're screwed because you will become weak and vulnerable in the next life.

You should make all bullets disappear when the ship respawn, or make a respawn barrier or something, or even downgrade only one level from the last life. That way the game would be so better, no one can get very far this way. I just played for 2-3 minutes.
